Maintenance and reinforcement of dykes

Abstract

Summary of the session 3 of the Colloquium "Safety of river and navigation dykes", Orléans, November 25 and 26, 2005, entitled "Maintenance and reinforcement of dykes". Based mainly on recent projects and realizations, the techniques adopted to improve the safety of the structures or to treat the pathology observed were presented. The dimensioning criteria were presented and discussed. We have also been interested in the safety weirs.
