Sharing Knowledge and Supporting Stakeholders in Territorial Projects for Water Management: Gest’eau, a National Resource Centre Serving Local Territories

Abstract

Integrated into the Gest’eau website in March 2025, the resource centre dedicated to territorial projects for water management (PTGEs) aims to centralise information, documentation and feedback from practical experience at the national level. It enables users to monitor the progress of these initiatives, consult information on individual projects and facilitate exchanges between stakeholders. Coordinated by the French Office International de l’Eau (OiEau) and INRAE, with support from the relevant ministries, this initiative aims to support PTGE coordinators in their work, promote the sharing of practices and strengthen skills. Its further development relies on greater stakeholder involvement and the establishment of a collaborative network to better address the needs of territories facing the challenges of managing and sharing water resources.
