Behaviour of grey poplars and aspen hybrids in young plantations

Abstract
Adaptability and yield of 35 hybrid clones of Leuce poplars are analysed in various environmental experiments led by Cemagref; they show that these hybrids are not productive enough for intensive poplar plantations in valleys, and seldom valuable for extensive forest management because they do not root easily.
