Contribution to the evaluation of agri-environmental measures: examples of approaches

Abstract

This paper defines the contribution to an evaluation of agri-environmental schemes that could be made by the following projects organised by Cemagref 's «Agricultures et milieux montagnards» division: surveying four "Article 19" schemes in areas of agricultural decline, research program organised by the «Parc national des Ecrins», techno-economic assessment of the additional costs arising from recommended farm practices, analysis of the development and implementation conditions of the French local agri-environmental schemes.
