Landscape creativity at he service of the refitting of quarries found in fluvials valleys

Abstract

During refitting or rehabilitation of fluvial valleys, landscape designers must not limit themselves to propose decoration or make-up actions. Using the example of the quarries found in the Seine valley, the author shows that it is possible to propose a landscape approach adapted to the size of the sites that need to be integrated; imitative rehabilitation, refittings calling for historical or geometric reconstitution logics.
