Optimization of the functioning of drinking water networks. Taking into account the stochastic aspect of demand

Abstract

This paper presents a 24 hours optimization models of a drinking water network. The method used is based on linear programming. This method allows obtaining optimal commands in real time. In this paper, we develop two points: the demand forecast on an area and the taken into account stochastic aspect of that demand in the optimization models.
