Recommendations to ensure the quality of spreading of organic materials

Abstract

This article intends to define the quality criteria that can be associated with the field application of organic products. Spreading distribution and accuracy of the applied rate have been analysed in reference with standard test procedures. The present state of sludge application quality in France is then assessed through the results of a survey and field tests carried out during the years 2000 and 2001.
