Sigemo: computerized system for the management of the spreading of organic matters - From the need of a multipartner spatial reference information system to the achievement of the specifications

Abstract

The will to construct an environment-friendly and planned muck spreading option made come out, as well to the Ministry of Agriculture and of Environment as to the Chambers of agriculture, and to other actors like the Water Agencies and the "ADEME", the need of a computerized system for the monitoring of the manure spreading. Cemagref is the owner of the Sigemo - Computerized System for the management of the spreading of organic matters. In the field of manure spreading, the job and institutions constraints are very strong. Cemagref has set up methodology of work which is original and suitable to the context, particularly, with a number partnerships. A national architecture based on open and communication technologies, its foundation around a common language are the main results of this approach.
