Abstract
Managers need pragmatic representation of nature suited to the restoration of the biodiversity on side roads, river embankments or on ski trails. In this article, simple representations are drawn up from the ecological theory of hierarchy. A simple model aimed to the ecological restoration of the vegetal diversity at the local scale is deduced from some properties of that structure. This model is used for the valuation of the vegetal diversity reconstitution on ski trails. At the landscape level, this hierarchical viewpoint allows to assess the impacts of a ski resort on landscape vegetal diversity from aerial photography analysis.
