Some errors to avoid in future hydrological studies

Abstract
To help future hydrological studies, this paper points out several errors and biases that are presently encountered too often. A perspective is proposed that a sound study is like a picture of the hydrological system under scope, that can only be accepted as convincing if built with methodological consistency, explicit description of approximations and choices made, and fairness. In a study conducted along this premises, operational results appears as by-products to the global picture achieved
