Issue of the management of invasive alien species in the French overseas territories

Abstract

The freshwater ecosystems in the French overseas territories are not spared by invasive alien species. These species have important negative impacts, proven or potential. Various national and local actions are conduct to better manage them but many challenges still remain to be exceeded.
