Utilisation des modèles de niche pour l'évaluation des risques d'établissement des espèces exotiques

Abstract

In order to better anticipate and assess the risks of invasions by invasive alien species, it is essential to acquire as much knowledge as possible on the ecology, biology and biogeography of these species. But how can the colonisation potential of an invasive species in a given territory be assessed? The method presented here is based on the characteristics of the species' ecological niche to model its potential distribution area and thus produce predictive maps.
