Abstract

Faced with the environmental and economic challenges posed by the presence of invasive alien species in continental aquatic ecosystems, actions are already being taken in France and throughout the world to improve their management. Prevention, early detection, rapid intervention, contributions from human sciences... what are the margins for progress and what are the prospects for meeting the needs of managers?
