L'eau courante et le consommateur : comprendre les défis pour le gestionnaire de services au regard de l'expérience de Nantes Métropole

Abstract

The individual's relationship with water has been profoundly altered as a result of ecological awareness. A whole network has to review its layout and question the standards that used to govern it. The managers of water services are therefore faced with new challenges: they must both strive for greater respect for the environment and encourage their users to do so, while establishing a relationship of trust with them on new bases. Through the example of Nantes Métropole, the multiple facets of this new age of water consumption are highlighted.
