Invasive aquatic plants in the Netherlands

Abstract

Invasive aquatic plants management in the Netherlands is based simultaneously on improvements in regulations, public information, the establishment of a code of conduct signed by many public and private partners and on appropriate interventions. Examples of experiments on two invasive species, Cabomba caroliniana and Ludwigia peploides, are presented and the results discussed.
