Les métropoles lilloise et nantaise  au prisme du foncier agricole

Abstract

From the examples of the creation of horticultural and market gardeningplots in Lille and requalification of untilled land in Nantes, the article questions the renewal of attention to agricultural land in the context of the revaluation of the food function. It is based on the analysis of planning documents on different dates and interviews with mayors and technicians of both cities. It shows that the same type of motivations (being part of an urban agriculture and food security movement), in relation to local conditions, involves different stakeholders, arguments, representations and working methods.
