The AdaMont project, challenges, values and methodological foundations

Abstract

Mountain areas are particularly sensitive to global warming, The AdaMont project aimed to develop an integrated approach to climate change adaptation at the territorial level, focusing on medium mountain territories. Led by Irstea and the National Meteorological Research Centre, this action research project mobilized many actors and disciplines from 2015 to 2018 to observe ongoing changes, anticipate their effects and propose new development trajectories.
