The bocage sector, from sustainable management to timber and fuelwood production: feedback from the Lannion-Trégor Community territory

Abstract

In Trégor, farmers and elected officials have jointly committed themselves to the development of a sector based on sustainable management of the hedgerow and the development of a large fleet of wood energy boilers with the SCIC Bocagénèse. Water protection is another central issue in the preservation of the territory's hedges and slopes.
