Reintegrating the bocage into farming systems: the experience of the Terres et Bocages agricultural collective

Abstract

Formed as an association since 2008, the Terres & Bocages collective brings together about a hundred farmers, mainly from Côte d'Armor, spread between Loudéac and Lamballe and organised collectively to maintain and renew the bocage of their farms. Their ambition is to revive a form of agroforestry, where the bocage tree is integrated into the agricultural production system and understood in its entirety.
