The issue of land for compensation implementation

Abstract
The availability of land is one of the operational obstacles identified by the actors for the implementation of compensatory measures. As part of the application of the Avoid-Reduce-Compensate sequence, this implementation faces the double constraint of ecological equivalence and the spatial proximity of impacts. How are the actors positioned to overcome these constraints and meet their obligations? A thesis project was initiated in 2017 on this issue in order to observe the forms taken by compensation, the strategies developed by the actors concerned and the possible operational difficulties encountered.
