Innovation in the field of territorial dialogue to manage the impacts of drainage on a territorial scale

Abstract

In Seine et Marne, a pilot experiment demonstrated the ability of artificial wetlands to intercept and reduce the flow of pollutants of agricultural origin over a small drained catchment area. In order to deploy this ecological engineering solution over a larger area of the territory, an innovative territorial dialogue approach integrating biodiversity and water quality issues was initiated by AQUI'Brie. This article presents the different stages of the process and shows the need for dialogue between all the water stakeholders in the territory to carry out coherent drainage projects that best integrate environmental issues.
