Abstract
Not surprisingly, the first effects of climate change on the health of forest trees are now visible on a large scale and for certain species. This is the case, for example, for the common lowland spruce, whose recent decline raises questions about past and current reforestation choices in France and Europe. After making a series of observations of recent events and their impact on forest health, the authors of this article propose a more prospective approach, taking into account current knowledge to provide food for thought for decision-makers.
