Abstract

Whether at the international level (Aarhus Convention) or in the various national codes (for the environment, urban planning, local authorities, etc.), the citizen's capacity for democratic questioning is now well established. In this interview, Joana Janiw, head of the culture of public participation at the General Commission for Sustainable Development at the Ministry of Ecological Transition and Solidarity, takes stock of recent progress on the subject in the environmental field.
