Participating is also learning!

Abstract

Learning is an important effect of participatory approaches. In social interaction, everyone acquires new knowledge, know-how or skills, whether they are participants, coaches or sponsors. However, in practice, these achievements are rarely evaluated. What is it all about and how do we go about it? We propose a two-part approach: conceptual framing elements and concrete examples in the field.
