New protocols to characterize lake hydromorphology

Abstract

By highlighting hydromorphology as a key criterion for the ecological quality of water bodies, the European Water Framework Directive has proven to be an important driver of new work in Europe. For water bodies, several methods have been developed in France to meet this new regulatory context, through a multi-spatial approach combining geolocalized digital information and field measurements.
