Sharing values and representations: a useful prerequisite for the participatory approach of the Brie'Eau project

Abstract

In the framework of an action-research project that is interdisciplinary, partnership-based and participatory, it is important to make explicit the expectations/objectives and representations of the people in the project group and of the stakeholders in the territory that we intend to mobilize. This assumption underpinned the way in which the Brie'Eau project was conceived and conducted, in particular through the mobilization of a specific tool, METE'EAU, at various stages of the project. This article reports on this part of the Brie'Eau work.
