Sketchnote – Lidar remote sensing for the management of mountain forest territories

Abstract

SET Journal innovates with the release of its first publication in sketchnote format. The sketchnote is a visual note-taking technique that combines drawings and annotations. Two experts, one a scientist and the other a graphic designer, took part in the exercise. The objective was to present in a different way the scientific results of work that was the subject of an article published in the journal under the title Lidar remote sensing for the management of mountain forest territories. The product consists of three panels presenting the research issues, the contributions of airborne remote sensing to identify wood resources and to map access to these resources.
