Title: Methodological approach for the opening to the sea of the Saudraye catchment area and the Loch lakes at Guidel plage (Morbihan)

Abstract

Located at the outlet of the Saudraye watershed in Guidel (Morbihan) and downstream of the Loch Regional Nature Reserve, the Loch sea outlet structure does not comply with regulations on ecological continuity. Its compliance implies a reconnection of the Loch marsh to the sea and multiple impacts in terms of legal, urban planning, ecological, or even financial responsibilities. Commissioned to implement the project, the urban community of Lorient is developing a preliminary methodological approach to facilitate the success of the project in conjunction with a network of multiple institutional actors and to sustain the management of the work in fine.
