Definitions:

Author: Person who is the originator of the work published on the Site, and invested with the intellectual property rights on it.
Contributor: person having contributed to the article as co-author or translator but who is not a registered User.
Terms and Conditions of Use (T&Cs): Terms under which the Journal offers content and services on the Site and the conditions under which Users agree to use the Site. Notices relating to the privacy policy, intellectual property, cookies, applicable law... can be consulted in the respective tabs of the website.

Evaluator: User with a specific role related to the peer review of texts submitted by the Authors.

The Site: refers to the website https://revue-set.fr/

The Users: any person using the Site. The Users do not need a login and a password to access the contents.

Registered Users: These are Users who have created an account. A role is assigned to them, either by default (reader), or by themselves (author or evaluator), or by the managers of the Journal, which will make it possible to control the type of features of the Site to which they have access. The roles are detailed in the "Personal Data Protection Notice" below.

User ID and Password: The user ID and password allow access to additional services depending on the role defined by the Journal. The password is confidential and the User is fully responsible for it.

Open access: Free and permanent availability of scientific publications.

Work: Creation made by a person, its Author, published on the Site.

Journal: The present electronic periodical.

Terms and Conditions of Publication: These are the contractual commitments of the Journal and the Author concerning, in particular, the terms and conditions of publication of a Work, its distribution, the license of distribution of Users. They are available under the heading of the homepage "For authors"

Purpose of the present terms of use:

The User acknowledges having read these terms of use and agrees to comply with them.

The purpose of the https://revue-set.fr/ website is to promote access to and dissemination of knowledge and scientific and technical information in the field of environmental studies and sustainable resource management (agricultural, aquatic, and forestry). The Site allows the submission of scientific works to the management of the Journal for dissemination to the general public and consultation by the Users of the Site, after the process of evaluation and editorial validation (available in the section "For authors").

The Site has been developed with the Open Access scientific journals platform operated by the University of Bordeaux: http://open.u-bordeaux.fr/journals. This platform has been created with the support of IdEx Bordeaux, benefiting from a State aid managed by the National Research Agency under the program "Investissements d'avenir" with the reference ANR-10-IDEX-03-02.

The Publisher is responsible for the content of the Site. Consequently, it may be declared responsible not only for what it publishes on the Site but also for any comments made by Users. The Publisher undertakes to be particularly vigilant in detecting violations of the law such as defamation, libel or invasion of privacy.

The User is subject to the liability regime of common law. His liability may therefore be incurred if his actions cause damage to others (Article 1240 of the Civil Code). The User is also solely responsible for the relationships he may establish with other Users and for the information he communicates to them. It is the User's responsibility to exercise appropriate caution and discernment in his relationships and communications. The User also agrees to respect the usual rules of politeness and courtesy in his exchanges with other Users.

Content that is prejudicial to a third party may be notified to the Host in accordance with the terms of l’article 6 I-5 de la loi n° 2004-575 du 21 juin 2004 pour la confiance dans l'économie numérique.

The Host cannot be held responsible for the content, and any claims must be directed to the Publisher.
The Site allows the establishment of hypertext links by third parties, subject to explicit mention of the source.

The Site provides links to sites over which the Publisher and the Host have no control. The Publisher and the Host accept no responsibility for the content of these sites.

Access to the Site's services may be interrupted, suspended or modified at any time without notice for maintenance or any other reason. No compensation can be claimed following the interruption, suspension or modification of these general terms of use.

The Publisher and/or the Host cannot be held responsible for damages of any kind, direct or indirect, resulting from the use of the Site and in particular for material damages, loss of data or programs, resulting from the access or use of the Site.

The Author of the Works published on this site remains the owner of his or her deposit and the Host cannot be considered the guardian of the conservation of the documents.

The Work submitted by the Author will be subject to an editorial evaluation. This does not lead to automatic publication and distribution. An evaluation process is performed. All information on the evaluation process can be found in the section "For Authors" > "Peer Review Process".

The Editor reserves the right to remove any Work from the Site that would violate public order, laws and regulations or good scientific practices.

Applicable law and jurisdiction

Any use of this site is subject to French law.

Any dispute relating to the use of this site or its content is under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris.
