Diagnostic and risk assessment of Rhone dikes around Lyon

Abstract

The paper presents the method of risk assessment applied in the frame of Study for the prevention of risks due to the dikes along the Rhone and the Saône rivers in the Lyon metropolitan area. This method allows identifying rationally the most critical dikes of a large study area.
