Leakage detection on dykes through temperature measurements along boreholes or optic fibers

Abstract

Temperature measurements are very effective for dike leakage detecting. This paper reminds the principles of thermal detection, shows one application and sums up the principles of the use of fiber optic. The fiber optic is a promising tool, under test by EDF at Oraison canal.
