Abstract

The assessment of the relevance of mitigation measures proposed by an impact study during a development project is carried out by setting up ecological monitoring. However, this type of monitoring is rare as it is not required by law. Focus on the Crau plain, where an ecological survey was set up in order to evaluate the compensatory and mitigation measures proposed by an impact study during the burial of pipelines in a sensitive ecosystem.
