Abstract
The Regional Natural Park (PNR) of "Prealpes d'Azur" is the French test region of the INTERREG AlpES project (2016-2018), abbreviation for Alpine Ecosystem Services-Cartography and Management. Over these three years, AlpES, in close collaboration with local stakeholders, has developed a shared vision of the concept of alpine ecosystem services (ES), mapped and assessed the ES of the Alpine space with territorial focus, shared the results of the project through an interactive online mapping tool and guaranteed a transfer of the results of the AlpES project via a range of innovative and transferable learning tools. In its test region, Cerema has co-constructed with the PNR stakeholders a map of the conflicts of use where each use is a provided ecosystem service and the set of ES a bundle of non-antagonistic services. Each service is evaluated economically in order to prioritize one service over another and help local actors in their decision-making. This line of thought, which has not yet been finalized due to the lack of data that can be mobilized, nevertheless remains an interesting tool for decision support in a given area.
