Which seedling for plant engineering on the banks of watercourses?

Abstract

Plant engineering techniques are increasingly being used to restore eroded or degraded environments such as embankments or river banks. Among the practices used is seeding, which consists of spreading mixtures of seeds of most often herbaceous species on the ground. Based on the monitoring of eighteen shoreline restoration projects, this article focuses on the success of seeding carried out according to various parameters: use of certified seeds, seed weight and relative presence of spontaneous species.
