The journal Sciences Eaux & Territoires has been published in digital format and in open access since the first year of its publication in 2010. In June 2022, the journal moves to the open access journal platform of the University of Bordeaux. This evolution will allow the journal to benefit from new functionalities offered by the Open Journal System (OJS) tool developed by the Public Knowledge Project (PKP) foundation on which the Bordeaux platform is based. Automated management of manuscript flows, access to article download and citation statistics tools, and the creation of a bilingual site are just a few examples of these new features.
Beyond the technical aspects, the objectives of this migration are to increase the journal's visibility to all audiences thanks to better referencing, to get closer to partner journals, particularly in the field of agrobiosciences and the environment, and to move towards better editorial practices and openness of science.
This evolution is part of a more global project to deploy the editorial platform of the University of Bordeaux: the Open U Journal 2024 project, winner of the second call for projects of the National Open Science Fund launched in 2021 by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation. This project is supported by the University of Bordeaux, the University of Lorraine and INRAE (owner of Sciences Eaux & Territoires).
You will be able to discover the new 2022 articles and find the archives of the journal Sciences Eaux & Territoires (2010-2021) and its historical journal Ingénieries Eau Agriculture Territoires (1995-2009) accessible from now on on on this new site.
